TRAVEL: Thailand, Pai

After a fullfilling breakfast where we got some company from Jill, the house cat, we hopped on our scooter and went to the wednesday market, a tip we got from the owner of our bungalow, Noi. We bought some cheap fruit (can’t remember the name but it was delicious) and walked around for a bit.

After the wednesday market we went to the ‘Fruit Factory’ for a really nice and well deserved lunch combined with a fruit shake. One word: delicious! The fruit factory is not really into the citycenter but a real must-visit when you’re in Pai.

Directly after our lunch we went to another waterfall, this time the Pam Bok waterfall, about 25 minutes from town (if you are a slow driver, like us). The Pam Bok waterfall is really beautiful. After a short hike you can enter the waterfall and swim a bit. The water was a bit dirty because of the rain two days ago, but it was still very pretty to see!

After a cooling down swim session we went back into town and had to wait for the rain clouds to go by. It was raining really hard, but as always in the rainy season, it’s more like a heavy afternoon shower, so it wasn’t that bad to wait for an hour and enjoy a singha beer. We also met a cute new friend as you can see on the pictures.

And our last stop of the day was the Pai Canyon where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset! So amazing, the canyon! Make sure to visit it when you’re in Pai, it’s paradise! 🙂
