A year has literally flown by and this was my very first time in Aalborg. So there are still new places to discover while working for an european airline! 🙂

It’s funny that somehow you notice yourself flying a lot to (for example) Marseille, and months can go by without going to Germany at all. I don’t know how scheduling does it, but someway, somehow, you visit one place more than the other. It doesn’t really matter, -almost- everything is nice.

I wasn’t particularly exited when I saw Aalborg on my roster. Other colleagues were complaining about it. There isn’t much to do and they didn’t like the hotel. But when I was there last week, we just got a new hotel, and the sun was shining. I actually really liked this Danish city! You can chill at the riverside (which I did) or just stroll around the citycenter with all the shops and the restaurants. We had a lovely dinner at a ‘all you can eat’ thai restaurant (or actually a wok restaurant), which was really good!

I’m looking forward to my next time in Aalborg!
