From -10 degrees in Trondheim to a foggy +5 degrees in Bologna. We arrived around noon in Bologna on the 25th of december, first day of christmas. I made a reservation in a well known italian restaurant Vicolo Colombina for a delicious christmas lunch.

It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the restaurant, and the streets were basically empty. No cars or busses, just a few people strolling around. The main square in Bologna (with a special fountain, check my pictures below) was a bit more crowded. There was a huge christmas tree, but it was not a very beautiful one.

For the lunch we started with some italian goodies: parma ham, parmazan cheese and other delicious meats to share. My first course was the famous ‘tagliatella bolognese’, from Bologna of course. As a main dish, I had the restaurants special ‘christmas’ dish: sausages with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was a lot of delicious food, combined with a nice red wine. It was a perfect, relaxed christmas afternoon. We ended the day with a drink in the hotel room, since it was quite cold outside. Perfect christmas, and luckily my crew was amazing! Thanks again guys. This trip will definitely make it to my top 3 list of best trips for work!
